Luis de Miranda
Philosophical practitioner and researcher in philosophical health and existential creativity. Expertise in philosophical counselling, sense-making methods, and innovation and leadership in institutional settings.
Luis de Miranda is a philosophical practitioner. He has developed the SMILE_PH method, a structured dialogue tool used internationally to explore philosophical aspects of meaning and identity, not least in healthcare and wellbeing contexts. He is also the creator of the Crealectic Method, a five-step approach to fostering existential creativity and reflective thinking. His research focuses on the intersection of philosophy, mental health, and existential creativity.
Luis de Miranda obtained his PhD from University of Edinburgh in 2017. He has held academic positions at several Swedish universities. He regularly works as a philosophical counsellor with individuals and groups and is also affiliated with the Center for Wellbeing, Welfare and Happiness and with the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics.
