Swedish as a Second Language
The courses in Swedish as a second language provide subject-theoretical training for those who teach students whose mother tongue is other than Swedish. The courses are also aimed at other students interested in the subject. You study, among other things, the structure of Swedish in comparison with other languages, cultural knowledge and second language learning. All courses are taught in Swedish.
After the basic courses in Swedish as a second language, there is the possibility of studying at the advanced level. The department also has postgraduate training in this area.
