The fAIrHEALTH project is exploring the ethical aspects of fairness in AI tools for disease prevention, combining empirical and philosophical methods. Now, we are looking to expand the team with a full time PhD student to join the team!

The project explores how different stakeholders balance algorithmic fairness and predictive accuracy, using tools such as Discrete Choice Experiments and qualitative studies.

“This is an opportunity to join an international, interdisciplinary research environment together with experts in ethics, AI, epidemiology, and health economics,” says Jennifer Viberg Johansson, associate professor of medical ethics at the Centre for Research Ethics & Bioethics at Uppsala University.
