Priority for an increased level of employment

If you have a part-time employment contract and wish to have an increased level of employment, you may submit a request for employment at a higher level, at the most full time, according to 25a § The Employment Protection Act [LAS]. This right to priority presupposes that:

• the employer’s need for more workforce is satisfied through the employee’s increased level of employment
• the part-time employee holds sufficient qualifications for the new duties
• the part-time employee has requested an increased level of employment
