Uniform to Work Day 2026

On Wednesday 15 April 2026, employees who are Home Guard soldiers are allowed to wear their uniforms at work.

Each year, the Swedish Armed Forces Home Guard celebrates Uniform to Work Day. The purpose of the day is to draw attention to and generate interest in the Home Guard. It was established by a motion adopted by the National Home Guard Council in 2017.

Participation is of course voluntary and by permission of the employer. Application to participate should preferably be in writing.
