Revision of Goals and Strategies for Uppsala University

In April 2025, the University Board decided to task the Vice-Chancellor with carrying out a planned revision of the Goals and Strategies for Uppsala University and to submit the proposal for approval by the University Board in June 2026.

The time frame for the Goals and Strategies remains until 2030.

The Vice-Chancellor is the project owner and is kept informed of the work on an ongoing basis.

The steering group consists of the Vice-Chancellor, the three Vice-Rectors and the University Director. The Vice-Chancellor chairs the steering group. Students are given the opportunity to appoint a representative to the steering group.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor is the project manager. The project manager leads the working group and is responsible for producing a project plan, which is approved by the steering group.

25 May Management Council consultation prior to RS
2 June RS proposal to the University Board
17 June The University Board adopts the goals and strategies.
