Processing of personal data in Studium

The learning management system (LMS) at Uppsala University is named Studium. Studium is used for student education.

To access your courses and use the Studium platform, certain personal data is processed when you log in and use the system. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Name (first and last)
• Email address
• Login credentials (e.g. eduPersonPrincipalName from federated login, such as the Central Web Login at Uppsala University)
• Personal identity number (only for students registered in Ladok)
• Content you actively share, such as:
  • messages in discussion forums
  • submitted assignments or academic work
  • audio and/or video recordings
  • profile image

In rare cases, your name and email address may be shared with third parties or transferred outside the EU/EEA in connection with support cases.

You have the right to request a record of the data registered about you. Your personal data is stored for as long as the data processing agreement remains in effect.
