Curious about how research and practice can strengthen one another? Join us for a networking breakfast and hear Karin Johansson share her story and insights.

Karin Johansson’s research explores how societal values can be woven into the design of playful cultural experiences for museums, municipalities, and NGOs. Her academic work is deeply informed by her many years running a design company, where she collaborated in research projects as an industry partner long before becoming a researcher herself.
Today, her dual roles continue to shape each other: her research influences how she engages in design processes outside academia, while her practical experience enriches her scholarly perspective. During the networking breakfast, she will talk about what it means to balance different hats – and the challenges and benefits of combining research and practice.
