First selection round completed for the courses in autumn 2026

The first selection round for the autumn semester courses and study programmes is now complete. The total number of admissions for the autumn semester 2026 is 61,860, compared with 63,294 admissions in the autumn semester 2025, a drop of 2.3%.

Campus Gotland has 5,644 admissions for the autumn semester 2026, a drop of 4.7% compared to the autumn semester for 2025 when Campus Gotland had 6,102 admissions in the first selection round.

The Medicine Programme and the Psychology Programme have the highest merit ratings.

A person can be admitted to several courses/programmes, so this is not the same as the number of admitted applicants (individuals). This differs from the statistics published by the Swedish Council for Higher Education, which counts the number of individuals rather than the number of admissions.
