About the Course
Do you find it difficult to manage a heavy workload, multiple deadlines, and the needs of students and colleagues? The university is a dynamic and demanding environment. Although the work is rewarding, the constant pressure can affect your well-being and concentration.
This course offers you an opportunity to pause, reevaluate, and build a more sustainable approach to your work.
It offers practical, evidence-based strategies for dealing with various challenges in a university career.
You need approval from your head of department/equivalent to participate in the course, as the respective institution/equivalent will cover the cost. Cost per participant: SEK 4,405.
If there are too few participants, the course may be cancelled or rescheduled.
Target Group
This course is designed for all university employees—including
researchers, leadership, administrative, and technical staff—who feel
that stress is affecting them negatively and who wish to gain knowledge,
support, and tools to improve their situation and find a better work-life
balance.
A Course in 5 Sessions
Instead of just talking about stress, we will actively build the skills to manage it. You will learn to:
- Understand the basics of the stress response to work with your body, not against it.
- Integrate powerful recovery and mindfulness techniques to restore your energy.
- Reconnect with your values to create a true sense of work-life balance.
- Effectively handle the difficult thoughts and feelings thatfuel self-doubt.
- Confidently set boundaries to protect your time and well-being and develop a personal action plan to ensure your new skills stick for the long term.
A Practical, Evidence-Based Approach
The course is built on a foundation of proven therapeutic models (CBT
and ACT) and focuses on active, hands-on participation. Through guided
exercises and shared discussions with peers, you will develop concrete,
"here-and-now" strategies to make an immediate difference.
A formal invitation will be sent one week before our first session.
