The workshop lasts for three hours and is aimed at:
- Head of department, line manager/supervisor/equivalent
- Local HR-generalist/equivalent
- Equal opportunities representatives
- Equal opportunities working groups/equivalent
Ideally, those participating in the workshop should have attended the seminar 'Active measures to prevent discrimination in working life' on 8 April, or previous training on active measures.
The workshop focuses on practical problems surrounding active measures, such as choosing survey methods or assessing reasonable measures to prevent discrimination, harassment and/or victimisation in your operations. Participants are expected to have discussed and/or decided on the measures to be implemented at the department/equivalent before the workshop.
After completing the workshop, participants should:
- know what active measures mean and what methods and tools are available for investigating risks and obstacles in their operations.
- know how to conduct a survey.
- know how to handle the results of their survey.
- feel motivated to start or develop their systematic work on equal opportunities.
