Recommended telephones
Some telephone models for landline extensions have proven not to work adequately with the university's switchboard, and so we recommend the following models. The telephone service equipment we recommend is available to order at the Product website. If you have any problems regarding the recommended equipment, contact IT Support.
Analogue telephones
We recommend Mitel 76730a, an analogue telephone for office use. Analogue subscriptions can be offered throughout Uppsala University, with the exception of the areas which only use IP telephony services.
IP telephones
We recommend Mitel 6865, an IP telephone for office use. Further details regarding models and equipment are dealt with via the relevant campus management team or equivalent. If you are not sure who you should consult, please contact IT Support for information.
