Prices for phone services
Telephony is an additional service provided by the University-wide IT Department (UIT). The service includes both landline and mobile telephony.

UIT's mission is to provide a high level of service and, in collaboration with Uppsala University's switchboard, ensure that students, the general public, and university employees can easily contact the right expertise within Uppsala University via telephone.
Below are price lists for the university's various telephony services. Please note:
- For employees and others active within Uppsala University, Mobile Extension (MEX) is recommended as the primary option.
- Phones and other hardware are not included in the service but can be ordered separately through the product web. See recommended phones here.
Prices for services and subscriptions

Ongoing subscriptions
- For standalone mobile subscriptions, additional charges for mobile services apply (see below).
- Call costs from extensions within Sweden to the whole world are included in the monthly fee for all subscriptions. Note: Does not apply to standalone mobile subscriptions or mobile broadband.

Setup fees for new orders, moves and connections
All moves and connections of analog extensions are carried out by a service partner.

Ordering and termination
- Order by forms that you will find here. The filled in forms are to be sent to IT-Support.
- All subscriptions are without contract duration. Termination requests are to be sent by mail to IT Support.
- Fault reports is to be sent by mail to IT support (Please, read this guide in advance).
Delivery
- Normal deliverytinme are 10 work days. Please announce large orders in good time.
- Billing monthly in arrears.
