Closing ceremonies and graduation events
At the end of each academic year, there is a closing ceremony for students completing their studies.
In Uppsala, the University invites all Master's students to a closing ceremony in the University Main Building. If you are a student at Campus Gotland, you are welcome to join the closing ceremony for all students at the campus.
Individual programmes, departments or faculties may also arrange graduation events.

The Uppsala Summer Closing Ceremony for 2025 was held on 26 May at the University Main Building. Dates for next years ceremony will be published here in December 2025.
Students at Campus Gotland
The Campus Gotland Summer Closing Ceremony for 2025 will be held on Tuesday 3 June from 16:00 at Wisby Strand. More details about the Closing Ceremony in Visby 3 June.
Graduation events for individual programmes
Individual programmes, departments or faculties may also arrange graduation events and activities for their students, for both Bachelor's level students and Master's level students. Contact your department to find out what applies to you.
Remember to apply for a degree
Please note that no degree certificates are awarded via these ceremonies, as they are not formal graduation ceremonies. You must actively apply for a degree to receive your certificate.
