We encourage you to take advantage of what Uppsala University has to offer, both academically and socially. If you are a new student, you need to activate your student account. You can activate your account a few days after receiving your final admission decision. We strongly encourage you to activate your account before arriving in Sweden.

Activate your account

After activating your student account, you must register for your course. This step must be completed before the registration deadline, as failure to do so may result in losing your place in the course or programme. Please note that deadlines may vary depending on your programme.

Register for your course

During the Arrival Days, you will be able to collect your keys to your accommodation, a welcome pack, get your temporary student ID and meet and greet fellow students and members of staff.

See the welcome programmes for more details.
