Welcome Programme for Uppsala, spring 2025
The Arrival Day for the spring semester 2025 are Thursday 16 January.
Arriving at Stockholm Arlanda Airport
During the Arival Days, we will have an Arrival Desk at Arlanda Airport from 09:00 to 20:00. The Arrival Desk is located outside the customs service in Terminal 5.
We will also offer a free shuttle service from Arlanda Airport to the Welcome Centre in Uppsala during these hours.
If you arrive at any other terminal, you will need to go to Terminal 5 to meet us and take the shuttle service.
If your arrival is delayed
Should your arrival be delayed, or if you are arriving another day, you will need to make necessary arrangements for your transportation and accommodation on your own.
Arriving in Uppsala
We have a Welcome Centre set up in Uppsala, in the Segerstedt Building.
When? The Welcome Centre will be open on the Arrival Day 16 January 2025, between 10:00 and 21:00.
Where? The Segerstedt Building is located at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 7.
What? Services at the Welcome Centre include:
- Uppsala University Housing Office for keys and contracts for most housing areas (only for students who have been offered housing through the Uppsala University Housing Office)
- Welcome packages
- Shuttle services to housing areas
- Student account activation (requires formal ID, take your passport with you)
- Temporary student ID
Staff from the Housing Office and the International Office, as well as student volunteers, will be on hand at the Welcome Centre.
Arriving on another day?
You are warmly welcome to visit the Service Centre in the Segerstedt Building during its ordinary opening hours to pick up your welcome folder and student account details.
