The official Summer Closing Ceremony for international Master’s students completing their degree at Uppsala University.
The Uppsala Summer Closing Ceremony 2026 will take place on Monday, 1 June, from 18:00 to 19:30 at the University Main Building.
The ceremony begins at 18:00 sharp in the Grand Auditorium. Doors open from 17:30, and guests are encouraged to arrive early to ensure seating.
The programme includes music and speeches by the Vice‑Chancellor or Deputy Vice‑Chancellor, as well as prominent alumni from Uppsala University.
Students are welcome to bring friends and family. After the ceremony, there will be time to celebrate together, meet fellow students, and have photos taken by the University’s photographers.
Registration is required.
