The Student Barometer 2024 – what do you think of your course or programme?

What do you think of your course or programme and your study environment? We are conducting a survey targeting all students throughout our University. Together we can make our courses and programmes even better!

The Student Barometer is aimed at all students at Bachelor and Master levels at Uppsala University. The survey aims to get a picture of the students’ perceptions of their learning and their study environment. The results can be used as the basis for continued work with quality development of the university’s courses and programmes, and as one of several basis for self-evaluation work in connection with reviews of study programmes.

When is the survey open?

The survey will be open between November and December 2024. You will get a personal link to the survey sent to the email address you have registered in Ladok.

Results

The results are presented in one report per programme and subject. In order for a particular programme/subject to receive their results separately, at least ten respondents are required, due to integrity reasons. A university-wide report will be compiled at a later stage.

How is the questionnaire designed?

The questionnaire is designed at the university, and the question areas largely correspond to the eleven aspects in Uppsala University’s guidelines for study programme reviews. The questionnaire has been discussed in several forums, for example with representatives of disciplinary domains/faculties, study programme representatives (senior faculty administrators, directors of studies, programme coordinators, teacher representatives), and student representatives.
