Sharing notes

Below are instructions for you as a note-taking supporter on how to share your notes in Studium.

If this is your first time using the Collaborations tool in Studium, you will first need to grant permission for the tool to connect to your OneDrive. This is necessary because the files are stored in Uppsala University’s OneDrive when you start collaborating.

1. Log in to Microsoft 365 Education

To share notes, you need to be logged into Microsoft 365 Education.

2. Go to the course in Studium

In the relevant course, click on Collaborations.

3. Create a collaboration

Click on + Collaboration

Name the document “Notes + course name”.

Only fill in the Description box if there is any additional information you want to share related to the notes. (Note: Do note upload the actual notes here).

4. Select students

In the left column, you will see all course participants. Select the people you want to share your notes with by clicking on them.

Scroll down and click Save.

5. Share the notes

Open the collaboration document you created. Click Edit.

Paste in the notes you want to share. We recommend placing the most recent notes at the top of the document.

Make sure to include the date and time of the lecture.

The notes are saved in real time.
