Forskning med fokus på medvetandefilosofi, neurofilosofi, neuroetik, bioetik och artificiell intelligens. Professor ad honoram vid Universidad Central de Chile.
Kathinka Evers forskning fokuserar på filosofi om sinne och hjärna, bioetik och neuroetik. Hon är professor ad honoram vid Universidad Central de Chile, Santiago och leder undervisningen och forskningen om neuroetik vid Uppsala universitet. Hon ledde forskningen om filosofi och neuroetik i FET Flagship Human Brain Project från 2013 till 2023.
Idag leder Kathinka Evers filosofiforskning i Horizon 2020-projekten Neurotwin och CAVAA. Hon är också intresserad av vetenskapens sociala ansvar, med olika positioner i kommittéer och vetenskapliga beredningsgrupper genom åren. Sedan hennes första offentliga föreläsningar vid University of Oxford 1990 har hon föreläst vid många olika universitet och forskningscentra.
